Computer Instruction

A goal for many CVABE students is to learn basic computer skills. Through individual tutoring and small classes, students are introduced to word processing, spread sheets, and a variety of applications that build reading, writing, and math skills.  Many students come to CVABE to learn about e-mail and conducting information searches on the Internet. 

Computer training is becoming part of most students’ experience at CVABE.  Many students make progress toward their goals using computer-based learning resources that are available at all of the CVABE Learning Centers.

While all our centers offer individual instruction in basic computer use, our Barre Learning Center also offers regularly scheduled computer classes. These classes are open-ended and multi-leveled, so you can join at any time depending on the number of students. Doris Plumb is our computer instructor. Here is our current schedule of computer classes in Barre:
