Fund Development Coordinator

Full time

A well-established and fiscally healthy community-based nonprofit, is seeking the person who can continue and increase levels of private funding in support of local adult education and literacy services provided by CVABE in Washington, Orange and Lamoille counties.Ideal candidate will possess a broad range of experience in all aspects of fund development. Responsibilities and qualifications include:

  • Responsibility for all fund development activity;
  • Skill and experience with public relations, research, proposal writing, planning, collaboration, and data base management;
  • Knowledge and experience in fund development techniques, particularly major gifts;
  • Demonstrated capacity for working with and inspiring key staff and Board of Directors;
  • Goal driven self-starter;
  • Strong interpersonal and writing skills;
  • Organization and follow through on tasks and strategic plan fundraising goals;
  • Positive attitude, passion for education, concern for people and community, self-confidence, common sense and strong ability to listen;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment;
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

Selection based on record of accomplishment with donor identification, cultivation, solicitation and meeting or exceeding annual fundraising targets.
