Alexandria Coffin

Last year we told you about Tanner Coffin of West Fairlee and how his 5th grade persuasive essay won him first place in a competition and a donation to CVABE. You can read about him here, and read his essay here.

This year we were pleasantly surprised when we received a package from his little sister, Alexandria. Many of us had met Alexandria when she accompanied Tanner to our annual thank you party for volunteers and donors where Tanner delivered his charismatic speech once again.

Alexandria was so inspired by the call for support of adult literacy that she took it upon herself to make and sell scarves to raise money for CVABE. The package that arrived contained the letter below, photos, three scarves, and a check for . . . well you read the letter and see how much this little girl raised.
