GED Testing Schedules

GED tests are offered at four CVABE Learning Centers. Click on a location below for schedules.

Important Notice: You must complete all 5 GED tests before January 2014.

  • A new generation of GED tests is scheduled to go into effect on January 1, 2014.  Examinees who have not completed and passed the full battery (all five exams) of GED tests by the end of December 2013 will have to start over.  Individual tests passed under the present edition of the GED will not carry over to the new 2014 version.

  • CVABE anticipates that testing sessions in the last few months of 2013 will become very crowded, and seats often might not be available.  We hope you will think about completing the testing process in the near future.

  • Please call any of CVABE’s Learning Centers for more information, to arrange for free tutoring and practice tests, or to schedule GED testing sessions.

Advanced Registration Required

  • Before taking a GED test, you must register in advance by calling or stopping by a CVABE Test Center in Barre, Morrisville, Randolph, or Bradford. Registration includes filling out personal information paperwork and listening to a brief presentation on how to use the scientific calculator that is a part of the mathematics test. 

  • Computerized GED tests are administered at the CVABE Test Center in Barre and may be scheduled by clicking on this link: http://www.gedtestingservice.com/testers/test-on-computer. Please note that payment and other options for computerized testing differ from paper testing at the CVABE Learning Centers. The tutorials and FAQs available at the above link will provide you with the information you need to create an account and register for the tests. Please contact the CVABE Test Center in Barre at 802-476-4588 if you need assistance with the registration process.

We do not accept walk-ins at GED testing sessions.
Advanced registration for each GED testing session is required.
You must have photo identification with you every time you come in for a test.
