to the Barre Learning Center
and The Depot – Youth Education Center

FROM THE SOUTH

  • Take Interstate 89 to exit 6.
  • Follow Route 65 to bottom of hill (roughly 3 miles).
  • At bottom of hill, take left turn at traffic right onto Route 14 north.
  • Go through two traffic lights.
  • At next traffic light, turn right onto Church Street.
  • Merge onto Washington Street.
  • Take first left hand turn onto Academy Street (just below the Vermont History Center), then left onto Averill Street, followed by left onto Church Street.
  • CVABE’s Barre Learning Center and The Depot Youth Education Center are at the end of Church Street on the left – on the corner of Church and Washington Streets.
  • There is free parking along Church, Washington and Academy Streets.

FROM THE NORTH

  • Take Interstate 89 to exit 7.
  • Follow Route 66 through 4 traffic lights, down the hill into Barre.
  • Be careful to follow signs for Route 66 through the third set of lights. Stay in the left hand lane.
  • At the bottom of the hill, take a right turn at the traffic light onto Route 302 east.
  • Stay on Route 302 through next traffic light.  You are now on Washington Street.
  • Take first legal left hand turn (watch out for “do not enter” sign) onto Academy Street (just below the Vermont History Center), then left onto Averill Street, followed by left onto Church Street.
  • CVABE’s Barre Learning Center and The Depot Youth Education Center are at the end of Church Street on the left – on the corner of Church and Washington Streets.
  • There is free parking along Church, Washington and Academy Streets.

FROM THE EAST VIA ROUTE 302 (WASHINGTON STREET):

  • As you enter Barre City, go through the traffic light at Washington and Hill Streets.
  • Next you pass the McFarland State Office Building on the left and the Vermont History Center on the right.
  • Just past the Vermont History Center, you pass Academy Street, then turn right on Church Street. CVABE’s Barre Learning Center and The Depot Youth Education Center are on the corner of Church and Washington Streets.
  • There is free parking along Church, Washington and Academy Streets.

FROM THE EAST VIA ROUTE 14 (MAPLE AVENUE):

  • Follow signs for Route 14 S into Barre City.
  • At the light in the junction of Routes 302, 14 and 66, turn left onto Route 302 east.
  • Stay on Route 302 through next traffic light.  You are now on Washington Street.
  • Take first left legal hand turn (watch out for “do not enter” sign) onto Academy Street (just below the Vermont History Center), then left onto Averill Street, followed by left onto Church Street.
  • CVABE’s Barre Learning Center and The Deport Youth Education Center are at the end of Church Street on the left – on the corner of Church and Washington Streets.
  • There is free parking along Church, Washington and Academy Streets.
