New Year Brings a New Home for Central Vermont Adult Basic Education’s Waterbury Learning Center.
Central Vermont Adult Basic Education has been offering free instruction for Waterbury adults and teens for over 40 years. Sue Rogers, herself a local resident, has been a CVABE teacher and community coordinator since 1987. Until now she has been organizing adult education and literacy programs for Waterbury out of a single room in the basement of Stanley Hall in the State Office Complex. Recent circumstances have encouraged CVABE to move to a more visible and accessible location in town and we are thrilled to have found the perfect spot at 92 South Main Street in the Grounds for Health building across from Center Entrance to the State of Vermont Waterbury Office Complex.
